The Brass Ensemble of Ludwig Güttler played a pivotal role during all the important solemn occasions which occurred during the reconstruction of the Dresden Frauenkirche, especially during the annual Christmas Vespers services in the Frauenkirche. Ludwig Güttler and his Brass Ensemble have now recorded Christmas music in the reconstructed Frauenkirche which includes works by Gabrieli, Praetorius, and Handel. This music for winds is rendered in a colorful, virtuoso performance with the unmistakably festive, fervent sound of this top-notch, international ensemble.
