The manuscript recently came to light as the couple celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary. This exquisite miniature is a welcome addition to the canon of reflective nuptial organ pieces by James MacMillan, begun with Wedding Introit and White Note Paraphrase. A recording by Kerry Beaumont was recently released (Herald HAVPCD377).
