It’s a series of re-releases from Storyville’s traditional jazz repertoire, recorded in the 1950s and 60s, although some of the material is only now seeing the light of day for the first time! Volume 15 is the final installment of the series. It features music from 7 different British and Scandinavian bands, including Acker Bilk & His Paramount Jazz Band, Ken Colyer, Henrik Johansen, Papa Bue's Viking Jazzband, Chris Barber, the Theis/Nyegaard Jazzband, and the Monty Sunshine Trio. As you expect from Storyville, this CD is a high-quality release of some original recordings, blended to create a unique Jazz experience.
