Thanks to its original, visionary musical concepts and brilliant musicianship, since its release under the title Heart To Heart , this record has gone on to be the best selling title in the entire Storyville catalogue. Comprised of three of Denmark's best jazz musicians: Palle Mikkelborg on Trumpet and Keyboard, Kenneth Knudsen on Keyboard, and Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen on Bass, this trio performed together regularly in the mid-1980s, taking advantage of the rhythmic and melodic flexibility possible in this Drum-less combination of instruments. With the re-release of this CD the title was changed to Imagine , emphasizing the Beatles tune which helped the original album to No. 3 on the Danish charts. This super session is as fresh today as it was when first released, and ready to appeal to a new generation of jazz fans!
