Note: All Multiseat licences are supplied digitally. A DVD media pack is available and can be added to the order for a small charge at the customer’s request.
STANDALONE MULTISEAT LICENCE
The Standalone Multiseat option should be used when the software is being installed on multiple separate computers that are not set up on a single network.
There are two parts to ordering a Multiseat purchase. First make an order for the appropriate ’Licence’ SKU. There is no cost for this item, but it will be used by AVID to register the customer’s details and authorise the Multiseat purchase. You will need to confirm the following detailsand include them with the order:
• Name of Educational Institution
• Music Department Contact Name
• Music Department Contact Email
• IT Department Contact Name
• IT Department Contact Email
Then, add a quantity of ‘Seat’ SKUs to the order depending on how many seats the customer would like to purchase. This will determine the total cost of the Multiseat order.
Note: A minimum quantity of 5 seats is required for any Multiseat purchase.
This Expansion version of the Multiseat licence enables you to increase the number of seats on an existing licence. It should not be used for a new customer purchasing a completely new licence.
Perpetual licence version. This is a one-time purchase that grants you access to the software licence forever.
It also includes 12 months of AVID’s Support and Updates plan. This means that for a full year after activating your software, you’ll have access to support directly from AVID, and will be able to upgrade to the latest versions via download as soon as they are released.
After the initial 12 months you can renew the Support and Updates plan.
