Book Four of the Howard Kasschau Piano Course has a two-fold design. Firstly it presents compositions which reflect the development of specific Piano literature. Secondly it introduces the idea of piano interpretations of other musical forms, such as the concerto, ballet, opera, string quartet etc. which were so important in the history of Piano music. Notes regarding the history and interpretation of each piece are included. All the material in Book Four takes the techniques developed in the previous books to a more advanced level.
